Hi All!i have a wedding project coming up and my client asked if i could source for the souffle cup..in dark brown!I've seen pics but havent come across any of them in the internet or at my local grocer.

Does anyone know where to get them?Pls contact me via email or flickr mail..

What I would do is find a cake box 2 inches larger in diameter than the actual board size of the cupcake that you are carrying, so if your board to hold the item is a 10, then get a box that is 12 inches and at least 5 to 6 inches high. Place the item inside the box and then lift the top up like you are about to shut it but don't let it touch the cupcake. Tape the sides to the outside of the box. I send cakes out like that all the time and they are fine. Your clients will understand that you don't have an exact box for such a huge cupcake! You can also choose to cut the top off the box as well.

For our wedding, we bought a wooden tier from a seller on eBay called Peggyanne's. They can custom make the tiers to your specifications.

The Home Shopping Network mail order cupcakes we posted about yesterday are now available online, while supplies last (I think that's how it works, anyway, forgot to ask exactly how many are being shipped).

They're $29.95 plus $13.95 shipping and handling, and they don't ship to Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands.

I recently purchased some MB vanilla extract that is too strong. What would I use to dilute it to a regular strength MB vanilla extract? Someone told me water. If that is true, what would be the ratio?

The Roanoke Times brings us the news of the opening of Roanoke, Virginia bakery Bubblecake:

I sampled the deliciously summery Key lime cupcake, while some co-workers tasted the extreme chocolate. Other flavors on the menu include pistachio, coconut ("the South in your mouth"), cinnamon roll, hazelnut white chocolate, peanut butter cup, bananas foster and caramel apple.

There's a pink cupcake with purple icing for the princess in the family. It's dotted with "pearl" sprinkles. And for the miniature superhero, how about a red velvet cupcake with blue cream cheese icing?

It isn't the exact box, but it is similar. They have them in gold and white.

ooh...cherry limeade cupcakes!!! I LOVE it! Love and Olive Oil has the best cupcake recipe I've ever made...and they are strawberry lemonade!
