The Cashless Exercise

Sorry for the inside baseball title, this post is not about net exercising options or warrants.

It is about an exercise I've been going through since the beginning of the year. I've always walked around with hardly any money on me. It drives the Gotham Gal nuts, but it's who I am. I don't like carrying cash and never have.

But the past few months, I've been walking around with no cash, not a dime. I carry a host of stored value cards and credit cards on me. The picture at the top of this post is my wallet. The black cord is my daughter Emily's hairband. In that stack is a metrocard, my drivers license, a parking pass for my garage, several american express cards for various personal and business entities, a visa card, and several debit cards. That's it.

I've gone without a wallet for years and this stack of cards has been my system for the past decade. But I've always supplemented it with some cash in my pocket as well. Not anymore.

What this exercise has taught me is that cash is almost unnecessary these days. Almost is the operative word. You have to work a little bit to operate without cash. I avoid the $2 or $3 purchase. I've never been much for the $2 or $3 purchase, but it does happen. Earlier this week I stopped at Joe, The Art Of Coffee for an espresso on the way to work. I forgot that Joe is cash only. Fortunately Joe gave me the espresso and took an IOU from me. I felt bad about that and now I have to figure out how to pay him back without breaking my no cash diet.

The thing that was holding me back from going no cash was the time it took to check out with credit or debit. But in the past year or two, most merchants have moved to a no signature required on transactions less than $20. If no signature is required, a credit or debit transaction is faster than a cash transaction.

And then there's cabs. It took me until this year to give up my 25 year habit of paying cabbies in cash. I thought the credit transaction would take too long or be unreliable. My kids told me I was being foolish and to give it a try. And I was sold in the first day. Paying cabbies with a credit card is simply a superior experience. It's fast, there's no waiting for change, and tipping is easier and I find myself being more generous. All in all it is much better.

So I believe we are on the verge of a cashless society, at least in NYC. I may be on the bleeding edge of it, but if I can go cashless, so can others.

The other thing this cashless exercise has taught me is walking around with plastic cards wrapped in a hairband is silly. We need to take the next step which I am sure is the phone. I've always got my mobile phone on me unless I am home. It would be so nice if I could simply enter all those stored value cards, credit and debit cards into my phone and stop with the stack of plastic entirely.

I hope to continue this cashless exercise going, at least when I am in NYC and not traveling. I honestly think I can do that. And as for the stack of cards in my pocket, well I'd like to get rid of them too.

Carlos Slim, el hombre más rico del mundo

Hoy, como viene siendo habitual todos los meses de Marzo, la revista Forbes ha actualizado la lista de las personas más ricas y millonarias del mundo. La lista, que no tienen grandiosos cambios en su top 100, nos ha dejado la sorpresa de un cambio en cuanto a la posición inicial: Carlos Slim ha descabancado a Bill Gates, pasando a ser el hombre más rico del mundo, puesto que ya ostentó en 1995 pero que le fue arrebatado de nuevo por Bill Gates en la actualización siguiente.

Durante la crisis, las mayores fortunas del mundo tuvieron grandes pérdidas (y por ello, cambios en las listas oficiosas que van saliendo mes a mes), vamos a recordar lo que sucedió en la anterior actualización del 2009:

1.- Bill Gates: En la lista del 2008 se situaba en la tercera posición debido a la crisis, volviendo en el 2009 por sus fueros, recuperando la primera posición con una fortuna estimada en 40.000 millones de dólares. Los estudios de Forbes apuntaban a que William Gates III (su nombre completo) había perdido durante esos últimos doce meses un total de 18.000 millones de dólares.

2.- Warren Buffet: Quizá la persona física que más notó la presión de la crisis financiera en Estados Unidos. Se movió en el 2009 del primer lugar del ranking al segundo, pasando de activos por valor de 62.000 millones de dólares a un poquito más de la mitad, 37.000 millones de dólares. Menudo varapalo para su fortuna.

3.- Carlos Slim: Bajó en el 2009 hasta el tercer escalón, perdiendo la misma cuantía que Buffet, un total de 25.000 millones de dólares y manteniéndose en 35.000 millones. Otro que se ha llevó un buen palo durante el 2008.

Ahora, con la salida de la nueva lista oficial vemos que aunque estas mismas personas continúan en el top3, se ha producido un cambio sustancial tanto en las posiciones, como en las cuantías de sus fortunas. Parece que se están recuperando más rápido de lo que ellos mismos podían imaginar.

Carlos Slim, ha recuperado la corona mundial, situando su fortuna en 53.500 millones dólares (desde los 35.000 millones en los que se había quedado hace escasos meses por la crisis); muy de cerca le sigue Bill Gates, en segunda posición, con una fortuna estimanda de 53.000 millones de dólares. Una diferencia tan nimia para ellos de 500 millones de dólares y que, para la gran mayoría de nosotros, es realmente una barbaridad de dinero.

Mientras, durante estos últimos meses, Warren Buffett ha recuperado parte de su fortuna (aún le quedan por recuperar 15.000 millones de dólares para estar al mismo nivel que antes de la crisis) con unos activos por valor de 47.000 millones de dólares.

Los tres, que han recuperado casi 42.000 millones de dólares de los 68.000 que habían perdido, se sitúan muy cercanos entre sí, no sería de extrañar que durante este año en las listas oficiosas hubiera variaciones de posición entre sí.

El primero español, como durante los últimos años, es el empresario gallego fundador de Inditex (ITX.MC) Amancio Ortega, en esta ocasión situado en la novena posición mundial, Forbes estima que su fortuna es de unos 17.000 mil millones de euros (25.000 millones de dólares).

Como curiosidad final comentar que el número de multimillonarios de todo el mundo casi se recuperó en estos inicios de 2010 tras caer en cerca de un 30 por ciento durante la crisis financiera. Ahora hay 1.011 multimillonarios, frente a los 793 del año pasado y los 1.125 de 2008.

El video visualiza la idea –se trata por tanto de un modelo conceptual, no un producto desarrollado– de un juguete que podría ser bastante divertido: las formas que se dibujan sobre el techo del coche determinan los movimientos que esté hará de forma automática para completar circuitos y recorridos.

La idea no es nueva (hace años que existen este tipo de juguetes como coches o robots a los que se les puede programar la ruta a seguir, como el mítico Big Trak de 1979 que tan acertadamente nos recordaba Lucer) pero la forma de hacerlo –dibujando sobre el techo del coche– añade un toque de diversión.

Caer de una historia

O quizá son las historias las que lo olvidan a uno. Y no al revés, como llevaba días sospechando. Mientras corría, por ejemplo, me escribía frases, párrafos completos, que habían desaparecido luego siempre al llegar a casa. También me di cuenta de que se iban esfumando los recortes de periódico no leídos que amontontaba en la mesita de noche, tal vez para más tarde.

De entre esas historias no leídas y ya desaparecidas, sólo pude recordar el otro día la de Bahia Bakari, la niña francesa única superviviente entre los 153 pasajeros del avión que se estrelló en el océano rumbo a las islas Comoras. Y allí, el párrafo de su relato que me ha hecho pensar si no me había caído yo de esas historias, las no escritas y las no leídas:

Pensé que yo era la única que había salido del avión. Que tal vez por inclinarme tanto para ver cómo aterrizaba me había caído, no sé cómo, a través de la ventanilla. Pensé que mi madre debía de estar muy preocupada en el aeropuerto, con los otros pasajeros, sin saber dónde estaba yo, por dónde andaba.

10 años tras la burbuja punto com

Durante el día de ayer y el día de hoy se cumplen 10 años exactos de la crisis de las llamadas “empresas punto com”. Empresas muy ligadas al reciente mundo de Internet y la tecnología en ese momento y que se fueron revalorizando de forma inimaginable hasta que un día, de repente, la burbuja hizo plof.

Gracias a Business Insider podemos descubrir algunos de los gráficos más impresionantes de este femómeno y la evolución posterior hasta nuestros días.

Como podemos ver ene ste primer gráfico (podéis pinchar encima para ampliarlo) la inversión total el capital riesgo durante el finales de 1999 y los comienzos de 2000 fueron máximos históricos. Cantidades que a los pocos meses habían pasado a ser la cuarta parte de lo que eran y que, en la actualidad, siguen a niveles bajísimos en comparación con la situación de ese momento.

A mediados de 20o7, antes de los primeros indicios de crisis, el capital riesgo rondaba los 8.000 millones de dólares, nada comparado con los 28.000 millones de dólares de pico máximo alcanzados antes de la crisis de las puntocom.

El crecimiento y la caída de America Online (AOL) ha sido una de las más importantes de todas las empresas del sector con esta famosa burbuja:

En 1992 salió a bolsa por un valor de 61,8 millones de dólares
En 1997 ya se situaba con una valoración de 4.000 millones de dólares
En 1999 un artículo en Wired situaba la capitalización de AOL en 105.000 millones de dólares
Enero del 2000, justo antes del pinchazo de la burbuja fue valorada en 161.000 millones de dólares
En Diciembre del 2005 Google invirtió 1.000 millones de dólares en AOL, el 5% del capital, dándole un valor de 20.000 millones.
En la actualidad JPMorgan estima que AOL vale alrededor de 4.000 millones de dólares, lo mismo que hace 13 años.

La última gráfica que vamos a ver es, en mi opinión la más interesante, en la que podemos ver cual ha sido durante esta década la evolución en bolsa de las cinco empresas más significativas desde el pinchazo de las empresas punto com.

En primer lugar destacar la gran caída sufrica por Cisco Systems; una empresa de software que, por culpa de la desconfianza del mercado en la valoración real de sus know how sobre sistemas y la importancia de sus desarrollos de software, sufrió una gran crisis de confianza que la ha relegado a la última posición de este top 5 cuando hace años llegó a ser la primera de forma indiscutible.

Mientras esto sucedía con Cisco, Microsoft pese al fuerte descenso que también ha sufrido en su capitalización, ha logrado mantener su hegemonía durante todos estos años. Ni en la gran crisis del mercado, y de sus productos, durante mediados del 2008 bajaron de la primera posición en capitalización bursátil.

Tampoco podemos dejar de lado el gran crecimiento que ha tenido Apple desde el año 2000 y Google desde su salida a cotizar en 2004 poniéndose al nivel de algunas grandes como IBM o Cisco Systems y casi alcanzando a Microsoft.

La burbuja de las empresas punto com hizo que todos aprendieran sobre la importancia de no sobrevalorar demasiado la tecnología y los nuevos desarrollos que aún no conocemos y creemos que tendrán mucho más futuro del que realmente tienen, ¿estará pasando lo mismo ahora con el Internet social conformado por Twitter, Facebook, etc?

Como siempre El Roto haciendo viñetas de lo más controvertidas acerca de las finanzas de nuestro país. En esta ocasión dejando abierto el debate sobre el salario que los directivos de banca deben tener.

Es evidente que, los altos directivos de los bancos más importantes de nuestro país, tienen una gran responsabilidad moviendo grandes sumas de dinero, pero ¿realmente se merecen los altos salarios que cobran?

Muchos dirán que es la ley de la oferta y la demanda y que si los Consejos Directivos y los accionistas de las empresas acceden a ello es por la valía de esa determinada persona, aunque no podemos negar que las cifras, casi siempre, son del todo escandalosas.

El Parlamento Europeo exige transparencia en la negociación del tratado ACTA

Varios países, entre ellos los miembros de la Unión Europea, llevan desde 2008 negociando el tratado ACTA, o Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, a instancias de los Estados Unidos.

Este tratado, al menos en teoría, tiene como objetivo el luchar contra la fabricación, tráfico, y venta de objetos falsificados, pero dado que las negociaciones se mantienen en secreto nadie salvo las delegaciones que acuden a las distintas reuniones y sus gobiernos correspondientes saben en realidad qué se incluye en el tratado y qué no se incluye.

Por eso, todo lo que sabemos hasta ahora es mediante filtraciones, y estas filtraciones indican que al menos en lo que se refiere a Internet el tratado incluye medidas que lo hacen muy peligroso para nuestras libertades y derechos fundamentales, incluso peor que el denostado Paquete de Telecomunicaciones.

Este secretismo, de todos modos, estaba preocupando ya incluso a los políticos, y desde hace algún tiempo algunos países liderados por Alemania estaban pidiendo que las negociaciones dejen de ser secretas.

Y ayer mismo el Parlamento Europeo decidió tomar cartas en el asunto presentando una resolución en la que se exige a la Comisión y al Consejo europeos que se hagan públicas las negociaciones en términos bastante duros (al menos para tratarse de políticos).

Esta resolución se discutió ayer y se votó hoy, resultando aprobada por 633 votos a favor, 13 en contra, y 16 abstenciones.

Como dice Christian Engström, Epic win for transparency on ACTA, pero siendo las cosas como son, esta resolución no es vinculante para la Comisión, con lo que puede optar perfectamente por ignorarla, algo frente a lo que los parlamentarios se reservan el derecho a acudir si es necesario al Tribunal de Justicia de la Unión Europea.

Además, aunque las negociaciones se hagan finalmente públicas esto sólo quiere decir que sabremos qué es lo que se está tratando, pero no que podamos bajar la guardia, ya que las negociaciones pueden seguir en términos tan malos como indican las filtraciones habidas hasta ahora.

I am a second tri traditional MBA, and I was lucky enough to attend the CSR/Clean Tech trek a few weeks ago. I just wanted to bring it to your attention that it was probably the single best learning experience I’ve had since arriving at Thunderbird and I’m really grateful that we have opportunities like that at Thunderbird. There’s the classroom education, and then there’s the Thunderbird experience that differentiates our students from typical MBA grads, and the treks are no small part of that. The CMC [Career Management Center] works very hard to help put these together and it’s well worth it. I was on the planning committee so I saw first hand how much work Mike Low puts into it, plus Kip Harrel facilitated some of the key visits, so I think they deserve some recognition and the school certainly deserves credit for serving its students. I hope we continue to grow with these valuable “out-of-classroom” experiences, because it really makes a difference in the education one receives here.

Es bastante triste ver el parlamento con tan sólo 50 de los 350 escaños ocupados; lo peor de todo es que justo se estaba discutiendo sobre: ¡Si los diputados trabajaban mucho o poco!

La fotografía que fue del pasado Martes 9 de Marzo es del todo desalentadora e indica la gran preocupación que muchos de nuestros políticos demuestran día a día por la grave situación que sufre nuestro país.

Este tipo de cosas hacen que me replantee todo el sistema político de nuestro país, como clase altamente acomodada, de forma profunda. ¿A vosotros os pasa igual?

An Entrepreneur's View On The Benefits of Coworking

We've all heard of the big company that started as two guys in their garage, but these days, with startup organizations and incubators, more and more success stories seem to feature companies that built their success from group collaboration. One excellent example of how startups can take advantage of collaboration is to work in a coworking environment with other companies and entrepreneurs.

Tuesday I had the opportunity to chat with Harry Lin, CEO of Lottay, an online gifting service that has spent a large portion of its short history coworking with outside developers and entrepreneurs. Starting in October of last year, the company spent six weeks working in the offices of San Francisco-based Ruby on Rails development house Pivotal Labs. In December they moved into a space at the Ventura Ventures Technology Center where they work alongside other consumer Internet startups, sharing ideas and resources.

"The thing about a startup is that you're always under resourced; you never have enough people," Lin told ReadWriteWeb Tuesday. "So the more you can make out of less, the better off your are, the faster you can go, and a startup is all about speed."

Lin, formerly the Vice President of ABC.com and General Manager of Evite, was brought on board at Lottay after the company received Series A funding in the summer of 2009. Below are some highlights from my discussion with Lin on the benefits of coworking environments for startups.

How did Lottay benefit from the Pivotal Labs experience?
We camped out at the Pivotal Labs office for the entire six weeks. We were in San Francisco and sitting in their office everyday with the two developers that were on our contract. The reason this worked better is that it was very intense and very concentrated; you had no other distractions. The other reason it was fantastic is that its a room full of 25 top notch Ruby on Rails developers. We were only paying for two of them in our engagement, but there were the other 23 sitting in that room working on various things.

We would come up with a problem or a hurdle we couldn't get over and we would just shout out, "Hey has anyone ever done this with a library?" and some guy would jump up and say, "Yeah, I've done that!" Voila! Problem solved. And that would happen all the time. So we were getting the benefit of this very open, huge brain trust that Pivotal had even though, technically speaking, we were just paying for the two guys. The third other thing I'd say was great about the environment is that they had other clients in there. So we got to meet, talk to, and get to know some other Internet companies, and that was really cool."

What is the experience like now in Ventura?
There are 12 of us in this incubator here in the city of Ventura; it's a very deliberate ecosystem the city is trying to push, and we're part of that ecosystem. We all speak the same language, the same jargon, the same shorthand. If one of us comes up with a brilliant idea or an interesting strategic question, we'll grab each other, white board it, sit in a room, chat in the hall way - the kind of random things that happen when you're all physically located in the same place. The other thing that we benefit from is that because this is run by the city, we get a lot of support in the form of a fantastic rate on rent, free wifi, marketing and public relations, and they've helped us find recruits when we have openings to hire people. The city is more than just a landlord, they're trying to jump-start this ecosystem.

So you would suggest that early stage startups try to find coworking space?
If possible, I would not do the "in your basement" or "in your garage by yourself". Those are the legendary stories we like to hear about, but I think the majority of successful startups has had some kind of coworking environment. I worked for nine years in the Bay area and I know that while there are official incubators, there are also these offices where nine out of the ten companies there are high-tech companies. Being with other people who are doing the same thing is hugely beneficial.

In the consumer Internet space, especially with how the Web has evolved over the last decade, everything is getting more social and more open, both in terms of the consumer behavior and in terms of the development and how things are produced. So it just stands to reason that in launching and trying to grow these types of businesses, you should be more social as well.

Is there anything startups should avoid when in a coworking environment?
It is tempting to do a lot of partnerships with other startups because you're there, you know each other, you understand each other's pains and trials and tribulations. Resist the temptation unless is makes a lot of sense. Usually what a startup needs by way of partnership is a large established company.

What is your advice to the young startups out there looking to launch or grow their business?
There will be 100 problems to solve every week. I can guarantee you that at least 75 of those problems have already been experienced and solved by someone else. That's the problem with being in a garage or a bedroom by yourself; you'll probably end up trying to solve those 75 problems yourself. When you're colocated and coworking with other entrepreneurs, you can share. "Oh, you've got that problem? I've got that problem, and here's the solution." You can benefit from their learnings and not have to reinvent the wheel, which saves you a lot of time.

Maremotos causados por los terremotos de Chile en 1960 y 2010

La imagen de arriba es un modelo informático del NOAA que visualiza el maremoto provocado por el terremoto de Chile del pasado 27 de febrero (magnitud 8,8).

Las zonas más oscuras de la imagen (negro, gris, violeta, rojo,...) representan la mayor intensidad de las olas o masas de agua desplazadas.

Posteriormente los investigadores aplicaron al mismo modelo los datos del terremoto de magnitud 9,5 que se registró también en Chile el 22 de mayo de 1960, el más grande registrado por los sismógrafos hasta la fecha.

En aquella ocasión el tsunami fue mucho más intenso y provocó más daños que el propio terremoto: olas de hasta 25 metros de altura en la costa cercana y de más de 10 metros a más de 10.000 km del epicentro. Mató a cientos de personas entre víctimas registradas en localidades de la costa chilena y en lugares tan lejanos como Japón o Hawai.

This Wednesday: eleven tips for boosting your sense of quiet focus.

We all know the feeling of being overwhelmed, of being beset by distractions.

The problem is – too many things are clamoring for your attention. People are trying to reach you, by phone, email, text, Twitter, IM, or old-fashioned yelling up the stairs. There are the interesting subjects you want to learn more about, on the TV or the internet or the newspaper. Noises in the background occasionally catch your ear, from the TV or radio. Your kids all talk at the same time. Colleagues interrupt. You need to update, check in, post, or ping. Ads jump at you from the most unlikely places. Devices buzz, ring, chirp, and vibrate.

It’s enough to drive you crazy. You lose your train of thought, you forget what you’re doing, you have trouble re-engaging in a task, you feel besieged.

But there are steps you might consider to quiet the buzz in your brain – even if you don’t want to take up meditation.

In addition to feeling calmer and more focused, you’ll probably be more efficient, too. Turns out that people aren’t very good at thinking about two things at once. One study showed that when people were interrupted to respond to email or IM, it took about fifteen minutes for them to resume a serious mental task. So consider taking steps like these, at least occasionally:

1. If you keep the TV, radio, or music turned on in the background – while you’re getting dressed, say – turn it off.

2. I have a sticky note in my bedroom that reads, “Quiet mind.” Whenever I see it, I drop my shoulders, relax my jaw, and try to smooth out my thoughts. It actually works.

3. During family time, divide up your children among adults. If possible, have one child per adult. And don’t check your emails or the internet while you’re with your child!

4. Cut down on the multi-tasking. Don’t talk on the phone while you’re doing dishes, don’t check your email while you listen to a conference call, don’t sort the mail while your child explains the school project that’s due next week.

5. Turn your cell phone ringer off. Hearing your cell phone ring – or even imaging that you’re hearing it ring – is a big source of jumpiness.

6. Take a break from doing errands. Keep a list, but don’t try to cram them in throughout your day.

7. Only use the internet to look up specific pieces of information; no jumping from link to link, no browsing.

8. Turn off your email for some parts of the day.

9. Twyla Tharp had an interesting approach: occasionally, for a week, she’d “stop counting.” She avoided looking at clocks, contracts, bank statements, bathroom scales, or anything to do with numbers, in order to let the other part of her brain take over.

10. Exercise. I find that if I don't exercise regularly, I'm too jumpy and restless to sit still and concentrate. I keep popping up and down. It's true that taking regular breaks is good for focus -- but within limits!

11. Flee temptation. I find it hard to work in my home office, because my family, the phone, my email, and the internet constantly beguile me away from my work. So when I have serious writing to do, I go to a library near my apartment which has a study room with a strict rule of silence.

It’s important to have space in which to think. Yesterday, I overheard someone complain, “I left my Blackberry at home, so I was so bored during my cab ride home. I just had to sit there.”

There are few things that I love more than looking out the window of a car, train, or bus. One day, when I was gazing out of a bus window, I was struck by a thought: “What do I want out of life?” “Well,” I thought, “I want to be happy.” It occurred to me that I never thought about whether I was happy or not, or how I could be happier, or even what it meant to be happy. “Zoikes,” I thought, “I should have a happiness project!” If I’d been checking my emails, I might never have had the idea for the happiness project.

What other strategies have you found to help you keep a quiet focus?

* Gratitude is extremely important to happiness, and keeping a "gratitude journal” is an oft-recommended exercise, but my gratitude journal never had much effect on me. I just found it annoying, and my journal was very dull. On this charming site, Thxthxthx, however, the writer manages to be very funny and engaging -- and also show genuine gratitude.

Resultados Coca Cola España 2009

Hoy hemos conocido cuales han sido los resultados de la división española de Coca Cola, la marca más importante del mundo del sector de las bebidas no alcohólicas y refrescantes.

Durante 2009, el año más difícil que se recuerda, la marca en España tuvo un descenso leve en el volúmen de sus ventas, rondando el 3%, principalmente provocado por dos motivos: la caída del consumo general y la baja actividad registrada en negocios tan importantes para Coca Cola como el turismo o la hostelería.

Fernando Amenedo, actual Director General de Coca-Cola España, lo ha hecho público esta mañana reconociendo que, pese a ser un año duro, han conseguido cumplir muy sobradamente todas las expectativas que se esperaba de ellos.

Esta alegría viene a colación de la subida de medio punto en la cuota de mercado en el sector de bebidas no alcohólicas; a principios de 2010 la compañía consiguió dejar el listón en el 25% de cuota de mercado, un auténtico logro contando con que el mercado español de bebidas no alcohólicas es altamente competitivo y posee una agresividad publicitaria tremenda.

En momentos de inestabilidad económica, lo más importante es la posición relativa en el mercado, nosotros hemos conseguido alcanzar y superar una penetración del 50,3% con nuestras campañas.

La facturación durante todo el período fiscal 2009 ascendió a los 3.100 millones de euros. Una facturación formada tanto por la filial de The Coca Cola Company como por las siete embotelladoras y distribuidoras que existen en nuestro país (que son al 100% de capital español). En cuanto al negocio a nivel mundial,The Coca Cola Company consiguió durante el 2009 un crecimiento del 3%.

The Coca Cola Company tiene especial cuidado con el mercado español, séptimo país dentro de su ranking interno de facturación por países, ya que es de los pocos países donde aún no se ha producido un gran flujo importador de colas y bebidas no alcohólicas de países históricamente exportadoras de las mismas como Reino Unido o Japón.

Si tuviéramos que ponernos nota en 2009 sería de notable alto. Aunque el año actual también va a ser un año duro y complicado, con un montón de incógnitas.

Para la compañía, España plantea incógnitas derivadas de la crisis y el efecto en el consumo de las medidas fiscales que afectarán al tipo del IVA (subida al 18%) a partir del 1 de Julio. No obstante Amenedo ha comentado que la marca no tomará ninguna medida especial de ajuste en los precios de sus productos, y esperan que sean los distribuidores o clientes los que absorban la subida.l

Coca Cola España, que siempre ha defendido un modelo de negocio basado en la creación de marcas firmes y poderosas con grandes campañas de marketing, ajustará su presupuesto al máximo durante este año, buscando superar su récord de venta hasta la fecha cifrado en 3.000.000 de litros.
