Miniature sofa - Nukkekodin sohva

I made a sofa for Erlenhof. It is made from balsa and the legs are wooden beads. I bought the beautiful fleur de lis pattern fabric from Dollhouse Trims.

Three Little Gardens...

Thought I'd show you these three little Gardens, that I unearthed in one of the boxes from the garage.
My Dad found these while he was out one day and brought them home for me. I think they were being thrown away, so Dad rescued them.
I have no idea who made them, and I do wonder what their story is. They all need some work doing on them. But will come in handy as background pieces to show of my work. I think my favourite one is Los Rosas.

I'm always trying to think of new things to try and create in miniature. I started to think of cake we used to have regularly at our bakery. Two of the most ordered cakes were the fruit basket cake and the pink champagne. Here is my miniature version of the pink champagne. I even made some cupcakes. Happy weekend everyone. Making lots of minis and hanging with my daughters. I'm a happy girl. Mini hugs!

Busy, busy these days but wanted you to have a peek into what I am doing. I am having fun for sure but have to tell you I will not be making many of those flowers. It took me ages to do;)

I am very inspired and have lots of ideas but time will tell what I will be able to get done. So many others things in life as well. Today I have been doing some cleaning and will show you later some of my Easter decoration that I have made over the years. This is my "large" life I am talking about. Better start decorating soon as the Easter is so short. Until then I hope you enjoy my vintage inspired photos of my newly made minis. Finally some light outside so I could snap a few. Have a nice weekend.

Haus Mid Century (mini)

Looks like LBrandt has another mini mini up in her Esty shop. The the last two sold for $90 and $50. I'm guessing she'll keep building new ones when this sells.

Haus Mid Century is selling for $40, and has a tar and gravel roof top consistent with the 50's homes and walnut walls. This version took 4 hours to make.

Coggeshall Cottage..

Let me introduce you to Coggeshall Cottage.
My Parents were staying over at their friends some years ago and my Dad took them all to visit his Aunt who lived in Coggeshall. Whilst they were there, they got talking about Doll Houses and my Dad's Aunt took them to see a Man who had made this Cottage. It was made to resemble the cottages that are in Coggeshall. Now he had made it to go in the Dolls House Shop, that used to be in Coggeshall, but because he had used real glass in the windows, they couldn't sell it for safety reasons. So my Mum and Dad brought it, and gave it to me when they came home. Unfortunately, the weight on the front two doors, was pulling on the frame, so we've taken them off, until we can fix the problem. I think we may have to mount it on its own base to support them. But that could have an advantage, that I could then have a very pretty country garden around it.

I'm Still Here!

Well, not working means I'm not glued to my computer all day and consequently have not been online too much (only to job search).

Yesterday I poured procelain ALL DAY and put the final touches on this faux cake!

This is one of the project's in Cassandra's Spring Ezine! It's not too late to sign up! There are five projects for March, this was number one!

I'm so proud of myself with the trim! I have to keep reminding myself this is NOT frosting as I'm "icing" the cake, YUCK!!

And yesterday I received a package from LuLu!! I just love everything she does and I am over the moon that now I have a wee bit of LuLu in my home!!! I haven't had a chance to take pictures of everything as I had to go meet with the tax lady today (boy that was not a pleasant outcome) and then when I got home I had a phone call from a firm I used to subcontract to asking me if I was available for some "overflow" work, YES, so other things have been pushed to the side, but I've been going through blogging withdrawal so just had to get a quick post out!

I did manage to take a picture of one of LuLu's creation before the battery died! Isn't this dress form tres magnifique!! It goes perfectly with my M!
